Yesterday evening Mary Beth and I went downtown to River Park for the Friday campfire thingie, whatever they call it. We got to roast some marshmallows and then look at the river. There was a threat of rain throughout, but we never got bombarded aside from a few very light sprinkles walking over and back. Later at home we watched the new episode of The Good Place. I got woken up very very early this morning to the sound of a drip/plop. The window in our bedroom is leaking now. Ugh. So I had to try to half-asleep rig something up to at least not have a constant sound keeping me awake. I tried a paper towel but that wasn't enough so I put a couple cloth towels up. The part that gets dripped on and thus makes the actual noise is very narrow and the towels wouldn't fit so I had to tape one there. Maybe when I'm more awake I can figure something less wonky until it can actually get fixed. Had a little trouble getting back to sleep but I eventually did.
