Had a mostly low-key Thanksgiving with Mary Beth yesterday. She made some puff pastry stuff that we grazed on. We went on a walk to the park and enjoyed the scene of the world being almost empty. So, there'd been a text thing with my parents and it had been settled that we were meeting them on Friday (as in today, not yesterday), but then my dad messaged yesterday all "we're here. are you here yet?" and we're like what the hell. So he'd said Friday, then changed his mind back to Thursday but didn't actually say that. Anyway, by default we're back to meeting 'em today, in a little bit. We went upstairs to our neighbors' for a little bit. They had some friends and coworkers over for a thing. We didn't stay for the whole dinner but hung out and talked for a bit. Then our old neighbor Carter came over to chat for a bit. He's back in town for the holiday, of course. He and Lee aren't together anymore. I guess that's the big news. Then Mary Beth and I wrapped up the evening jumping in on the MST3K marathon and watching a bit of that. And there you have it.
