Yesterday was a pretty big day! The first thing was I picked up my tire and put it on my car. The repair was free so that's nice. Then I had an appointment to get a quote on a place buying my old Honda, but I couldn't find the title after much searching so I'll probably need to get that replaced. Then, the other thing scheduled was taking my MuleSoft certification exam. That was for the nighttime, so I did a little bit of cramming throughout the evening and finally took it. It was a two hour exam and the questions are very much in line with the test questions from the training so I felt pretty prepared. Ended up having a slew of technical problems with the test-taking software at first but it eventually settled down. Gave me more chances to nervously pee, at least. But yeah, I passed it and am now a certified MuleSoft developer (for the next two years). So that's cool, my first professional certification! Overall it wasn't a hard exam. I mean, there are some hard or tricky questions and a few questions on more obscure things, but there are a good bit of easy questions at least and you have a pretty wide margin only needing to get 70% to pass. They don't tell you your final score (other than pass or not) but they give you a breakdown on the different topics in the exam. So I estimated I got about a 77 (that's assuming there's an equal number of questions for each topic which isn't likely, but I guess gives a decent estimate). Only one section I did really badly in, but I was kind of expecting it. Anyway, it's done! And I got to send the word out to my managers and the news even made it into today's newsletter email (which surprised me). I forgot to mention in my last post that Mary Beth and I watched the rest of the available BoJack Horseman episodes (they're doing that half-season thing so gotta wait a couple more months til the rest are available!).
