Did a bit of napping last night and then I went out to Black Lodge (now actually a video store again) to see Claudio Simonetti's Goblin play a live score to Deep Red! It was good! They showed the edited American version (I guess it's easier time-wise for the band to score). Mostly it was sitting watching the movie and every now and again the band would do a theme or cue or whatnot. Then afterwards they played an hour long set of hits and such. As I said, it was a good show. The other and official incarnation of Goblin we saw a few years ago was better, but this was still really good. I picked up a bit of merch: a couple t-shirts (this Deep Red tour shirt though the Black Lodge show was a last-minute addition and it didn't make it to the back of the shirt with the others, and one for Suspiria...that was the movie they scored when they toured last year and played in Nashville but I missed it) and their new cd: Claudio Simonetti's Goblin: The Devil Is Back (hoping it's good!). They've ramped up the construction at work even more. I'm now home, working from home. It was pretty loud in there and the fumes get to ya a bit. I at least stayed til the afternoon. Well, I'll get back to work now.
