I got my ticket to Big Ears yesterday! So I'm going! Woo! What else? Mary Beth and I went on a walk to Overton Park. Later at night we watched Chocolat. Definite echoes of Like Water for Chocolate (though less magical realism and more straight up fairy tale). It wasn't horrible, but a lot of very obvious moves in the narrative. It sort of highlights the eternal conflict between that which is Juliette Binoche and that which is Johnny Depp. Anyway, then today was back to work and there you have it.
