Late Night

I went and got another fuse for my car yesterday. It was the same one I got last time. However, I realized I didn't just bend those screw-arms wrong the last time, it just has the wrong sized screw-arms and I can't even figure out how I managed to contort it into fitting the last time. I couldn't even get it to work in a janky way this time, it just wouldn't bend. So I guess I need to see if they have anything in the right size. At least it's only a four dollar part. I ended up passing out for a couple hours, I think, a bit into the night. I guess I needed it 'cuz I was going to a late show later (though I didn't plan on that sleep). It was up at DKDC and didn't start til 11:30. There were two ladies from Nashville both doing a kind of synth/dream pop. First was Eve Maret. Next was Dream Chambers. She was that lady we talked to working at Grimey's a couple years ago (about Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and Kelly Lee Owens and such). Linda Heck played. Then Outside Source closed it out. Jacques was there and I talked to him a bit and we finalized our decision to go to Big Ears this year. Talking about it and some of the artists playing, I mentioned Harold Budd and this woman chimed in about how super into him she is (I think she's one of the people that lives in the house that had the Memphis Concrète after party as well as that Linda Heck show I joined in on Casio at). Anyway, then home super late and now I'm awake after sleeping and such.
