Meat and Walk

Mary Beth and I got to use our other Texas de Brazil gift card for lunch yesterday. So we ate a bunch of delicious meat and etc. Afterwards we took a little walk downtown, down to and around Tom Lee Park. After we got home we did a bit of watching. We started in on Berlin Alexanderplatz, but we didn't finish the first part 'cuz it got to be too violent for Mary Beth. I feel bad 'cuz I've read the book and she asked about that but I didn't remember bunches of stuff and I was like naw it's fine. So I clearly would not pass the exam these years later. After that we watched Solaris, she'd never seen it and it'd been an even longer number of years (than reading that book) since I'd seen it (and likewise there was a bunch I didn't remember! Moral: my memory stinks.). Then it was back to work today after the holiday weekend. I had kind of a booking panic and probably annoyed the hell out of everyone else in the Memphis Concrète group. Alas. Now I'm home and stuff.
