Deep Tissue

Had my belated massage yesterday. It was a deep tissue massage, which I thought maybe I'd had before, but I definitely had not. It was very, very intense. Some parts were creeping up into the pain scale, but eventually having a relaxing effect on my whole body. It was overall very nice, though not the kind of massage I'd want to get every time (as if I got them regularly!), but I'm glad I got it and can still feel its effects. She started on my legs and pushed into my calves the hardest of anything and they were the one thing that was sore afterwards and I could feel them a few hours later. But I went home and wanted to keep feeling the feeling so I got in bed and passed out. I was kind of suspended in a state of enduring relaxation. Last night I finally started preparing for my "Christmas" show this week (Merry Concrète Christmas). I literally dusted off the old four-track cassette recorder that someone handed down to me and I'm not sure if I ever really used (there was one sequencer+synth track on the tape that was inside, so I guess I probably started in on something once but never did anything with it). Anyway, I've started recording (public domain) Christmas music onto the four-track. I plan to mix it all in/out and run it through the modular for my set. Mary Beth and I started watching the new season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel last night. There you have it.
