The Cold

Memphis Concrète discussions over being held at the Brooks next year are underway. The whole gang of me, Luís, Chris, Amy, and Jacques met up at Andria's house to talk about it and I think it went pretty well. She seems into it and it has the potential for being very awesome. Still a lot to be sussed out, but I feel we're in a good direction right now. After our errands, Mary Beth and I went on a walk to the park yesterday evening. I've now migrated from jacket to coat (it's cold! and this morning I broke in our heater for the season). We went and had dinner at Lucky Cat. They had oxtail mazeman, never heard of that but we tried it and it was super good, it's not in a broth but thick noodles (it's a little similar to sauerbraten, but more Japanese). We ended up catching up on the latest episode of The Good Place. So far this season has been weaker than the first two, but this episode (#7 The Worst Possible Use of Free Will) hit back to those highs of the last season. I did work a little on my music last night but only a very little. Forgot to mention earlier, but Friday night I was going to watch some of A Hollis Frampton Odyssey and the fucking first disc is completely cracked. Never played or taken it out of its case before. So that was a bit disappointing.
