aural synthesis

last night on ebay: ...mmm...ARP Avatar...it is now mine...for those who don't know anything about it, including myself of a little over 24 hrs ago, it's a lot like the ARP Odyssey although it's main difference is in how it is played...it was intended to be played w/ a guitar...you connect it w/ a special pickup and the guitar triggers the synth...although it can also be used w/ old synths w/ CV (i.e. my Moog Liberation)...the person i bought it from is including a guitar w/ it too...some generic Fender, though still quite cool...this is what it looks like (the Avatar):

phat...also, tonight, i bought David's Korg Lambda string synth from him...and it is now sitting directly behind me, officially and all...

also, my models of comp teacher still hasn't cleared up the non-attendence issue as i went by the admin office today to check up on it...bastard...this might mean i'll haveta talk to him personally...bah...oh well, i think i might have to do that for another issue regarding my project anyway...bah...

yup...which is a shame, as it's so ruling...that and ARP having ruled so much too...you almost wish it could've been something that sucked that sent them into crippling debt...not that it really matters i guess...i guess it's just the whole issue of something good ruining something else good...it should be evil doing that! damn reality...

Brad's not working friday morning...although he has to go in at 3, which makes it shorter but we can practice...he can also do it saturday...would you be able to? at least for a couple hours, i think we (Brad and i) both go in at 5, he might go in at 4...something like that...
