Back to work today. Was a little tired as it's hard to get back to sleep at a decent time after traveling, but it was okay. Came back to a few fires happening with our work. They seem to have been resolved. Complete team changeup. The Communications team will be no more and I'm going to be on the Foundations team. The teams are really being merged. The Communications work is mostly going away and there's a lot of Foundations work. Two small teams are going to be one big team (a few people are leaving each team, Sterling is once again moving to another team and Matt is going into infrastructure). We're also gaining Shruthi. I'm going to be the tech lead too which surprises me and feels a little daunting but we'll see how it goes. Got home and we rushed to the post office to pick up this package that's supposed to be on hold for Mary Beth but they couldn't find it... I remembered a few things about the trip that I'd forgotten. Can I remember them again? On the subject of the massive bass on Sunday, while watching Chaka Khan's set, once Japandroids started across the way and since I was kinda far away from the stage, their bass kept thumping over the sound of her music. (They were someone where I was like, hm, do I want to check them out? Let me read a brief description of their sound... "blend of classic rock and punk rock"...no thanks!) While driving both ways, my leg kept getting sore. I guess it'd gotten a little vulnerable from the exercise I've been doing. Spent a bit of the time, after a while, driving with my left foot and the awkwardness that entails. Okay, those are the things that I remembered. If I remember more I'll share them later!
