Mary Beth and I went over to Luís and Eda's last night for dinner. They are very nice and the time was nice. The food was wonderful. They made one Portuguese kinda dish, a salad that's tomatoes and sardines. Then there was squash/zucchini and rice and pork. It was all fantastic. Emily was cute. She was kicking us out by the end, pretty much insisting that we leave. Sebastian the cat was a joy. I learned that in Portuguese there is no 'th' sound, so Luís's label is actually pronounced "disco" and his compilation/book series is pronounced "antibodies." Bought a few of those off him. So got Antibothis Occultural Anthology Vol. 2, Antibothis Occultural Anthology Vol. 3, Electronic Thisturbance (ah..."disturbance" I see what you're doing now), and Anthibothis CD (this is volume 1 but he didn't have any of the books just the cd). He also loaned me this cd by Vincent Wrenn called Yesterday + Today: a Music of Time. The guy is originally from Memphis but lives in Asheville (I think) now. Luís wants me to check it out so I will. Okay, then there's work today. I got off a little early and went to the post office and picked up a package. This is a Bastl Knit Rider module (it's a trigger sequencer). It has a wooden panel. That's about it for now.
