David and i bought our tickets for All Tomorrow's Parties in LA this late october...so it's on...then i went to Disc Go Round:
Mike Ladd: Countdown 2 Armageddon (i *think* that's the title...something 2 Armageddon anyways...)
Roxy Music: s/t
i went back for the Mike Ladd cd...but i have no qualms w/ walking away w/ more...ummm...oh i'm at The Apartment and we watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre...it was quite good...ummm...

anecdote:
yesterday at work i made a delivery to this apartment building...i all walk in and hear "HEY! HEY! PIZZA BOY! HEY!" so i turn around and this big redneck guy's like "how'd you get in here!?" "that guy opened the door for me" and he proceeds to tell me that i'm not supposed to go up and supposed to call and have the ppl meet me downstairs and such rubbish...i'm like "sorry i didn't know" then he lets me go up anyway...then when i was leaving he was all "HEY!" so i went back...the following conversation ensued:
"You ever served in the military?
"No."
"You ever think about serving in the military?"
"No."
"Would you be interested in the joining the reserves/nation guard/somethinglike that?"
"No."
(there was some other guy standing there...he chimed in w/ me on the third "No.")
"Well my retirement from the military's much better than most normal jobs."
"Okay."
then the other guy said "Take care." he seemed to have an air of "sorry this crazy redneck's bothering you, man" about him...it was comical...that's all..
