I finished reading A Happy Death by Albert Camus yesterday afternoon. It was okay. You see some things leading up to The Stranger, but there are points where it feels incomplete and abandoned and it's generally not as engaging as his other stuff. There are moments when good writing comes through, but just as many others where it feels a little rough and redundant. Later in the night I got an issue on the Memphis Forward website. Someone got an error trying to register a valid email. So I dug into it and it turns out it was already on the list. I said I'd put it on my todo list (which I did, don't know if I mentioned before the little todo plugin I installed in our slack team), but then while I was in there I figured I'd just fix it. Actually, I first fixed a graphical glitch that was also on the todo list (a possible edge case where you submit and get a successful response and keep hitting submit and the responses stack up on top of each other and mess up the page's layout). Actually thought I had fixed it before, maybe I didn't save it or something. Anyway, fixed the one and fixed the other so that made me excited. Then there was work today. Horace has been taken to hiding come medicine time again. This time I haven't been able to find him. He comes out when we feed him so I just do that first to draw him out (though I always wait til he's done eating, I'm not a monster). But I think looking for him yesterday and getting on the floor gave me these hives near my elbows. Today, Mary Beth saw him come from "Dustin's" room so now I at least have it narrowed down. That's about it for now.
