Just Before

My order from Important Records finally came yesterday (actually it was two separate orders that I guess had issues getting out to me that were finally put together as one...well, the first one never came and the second one seemed to have a communication snafu in getting created to begin with, but they were nice when they finally got them together). Anyway, so I got some cds: Else Marie Pade: Electronic Works 1958-1995 and Eliane Radigue: Vice, Versa, Etc....; and I got a couple shirts: one for Eliane Radigue's Adnos albums, with a piece of the cover design and no text, and one for Kluster (with the old Important Records' Mondrian logo to boot). Then work yesterday. Mostly normal except my machine started fucking up right before I left and I got held over a few minutes. We got up early this morning to get some shopping and mail-getting before things got crazy. Luckily we beat any crowds and didn't have any trouble, though Mary Beth isn't a morning person. But we are home and safe and sound now. Oh, I should add that someone else from the programming training opportunity contacted me yesterday to make sure I was still interested. He needs the project in earlier than what the other person told me, but I have until Sunday. On the plus side, he said he wants me to be in the class because my score on the other test was so good. That's exciting anyway. Now I just need to get this darn thing done with.
