last night Jacques reminded me of The Knowledge Store or whatever it's called, and that they'd prob'ly have magnets, and they're in the midst of a going out of business sale...so today i went, depositing my check (which is once again at $11/hr instead of $13...) along the way...they were sold out of magnets though...so i thought i'd try a different Radio Shack from the last one i went to...they had this little basket thingie of these random magnets...they had ones the exact size as the last ones i got, but a *little* stronger...i got some of those and went to buy 'em but they just said they were free...coolness...so i went home and switched the magnets out of my pickup...but it's still acting the same...now, it *might* be that it's still just not a strong enough magnet...but i'm also thinking that the problem might be the coil...i think the original thingie i looked up said to wrap the wire a thousand times around the spool...blah...so it'll prob'ly need a bunch more turns...i guess i'll slowly work on that...but just getting one level was tedious and like a bunch of work and stuff...but, the rock must be completed...by the time this is all over this had better fucking work right damnit...being a rocker does not come cheap, however...once my guitar pickup is built, i will be cool damnit...i WILL be cool...aaaaaanyhoo...enough blather about my scientific developments in the field of rockandroll...

in a little while i'll be going out of town...my aunt's all comin' into tha church and there's the big service thingie so we're going to that...my mom's staying and there's gonna be the big easter thing tomorrow, since it's easter and all...but i've gotta work tomorrow so i'll be coming back tonight...hopefully i can get some homework done in the car...i didn't get started on that programming assignment last night...but i'm sure you were expecting that...blah...that's all i have to say for now i think...

that's not over here now...and also it's a base so it doesn't have as many magnets...(4, for the 4 strings...) and i eventually plan on turning that into something...what i dunno...but one day...

It doesn't matter if it has one magnet or one hundred magnets as long as the copper coil goes under all the strings.
