I need to give House of Leaves back to you. It seriously didn't cut it for me, I'm sad to say. Some of the segments about the house and documentary could have been cool but for Danielewski's godawful writing.

The segments about the tattoo artist were pretty bad.

All the stunt writing didn't serve a discernible purpose as far as I could tell, except to be "quirky."

I really wanted to like this book, and I'm bummed that I didn't! Thanks for loaning it to me!
