today is Mary Beth's last day at work...(well, technically in a way tomorrow is, but due to a managerial screw-up a bunch of people's last day is on a holiday and no one will be there to go through their termination paperwork and whatever else they have to do before leaving, so rather than keep them longer and lose more money paying them and since they can't cut it shorter than stipulated in the severance letter, they're letting them off the day before with full holiday pay...so that's sweet for her and the rest...) it's gonna be weird at work now without her...actually she got off at the same time i did as all that whatever they had to do didn't take long...she just walked in...now it's a big holiday for her i guess...
