last night i went with Dustin to the olive garden which is somewhat random but he wanted unlimited soup and salad and that didn't seem so bad so i got it too...i finished reading The Guermantes Way by Marcel Proust at work today...worked overtime three and a half hours...i had the worst fucking call too...i was typing a recording for 45 fucking minutes straight and the recording was annoying to top it off...my hands were pretty fucking dead...anyway...that's all for now...

Date: 2007-11-13 09:55 pm (UTC)There was a little soup fiasco the last time I went to Olive Garden. Were you there for that? I ordered some soup and the waiter was like, "You don't want the soup." And I was like, "Yes, I do." And then he said, "Listen, you DON'T want the soup." And I said, "Listen, I WANT the soup." And it kept going like that until Jacques stepped in and wouldn't let me get the soup. It's probably a good thing he did. I reckon it's wise to listen to the waitstaff on such matters, but, damnit, I really wanted the soup. And all these many years later I still feel like Olive Garden owes me that soup.
