."the belldog"
.yes, that y pants song :)
.the owen song
.the radohead song...what is that from, if i may ask
.i didn't think i would say it, but that mineral song. especially the beginning.
.the live konono no. 1 song
bands/song i love and am glad you put on the tape: kepler (J and i both made this funny happy sigh of recognition and anticipation when it came on), hood, sentridoh, the bauhaus, omd, that casiotone song (! when they're good, they're great, and then 89% of the time they're totally nondescript boring monotonous).
and most importantly, who is christina rosenvinge?!!!! because i'm pretty sure that's hands down my favorite track on the tape, and i have no idea who she is, but now i'm mega curious. if all of her stuff has that feel to it, i want to hear more. it's perfect summer night music.
and like i said, i'd make you a mix Robert, but you're too judgmental and well versed for me to do so! ;) so i'm not sure how to pay you back. hrmm...

Date: 2006-04-21 05:09 am (UTC)the Radiohead song off the "There There" single...
Christina Rosenvinge is some chick from spain and i guess now she lives in the united states...and i know her because of her Sonic Youth association...she's on Smells like Records (Steve Shelly and Tim Foljahn play on the album of hers i have...) (and i think Lee Ranaldo produced the album before that...) so yeah, i'd say that song's a pretty fair representation of her as whole...
and i tell ya, i'm not judgemental! i promise! sheesh! like i'm some sorta fascist or somethin'!
oh, and you mentioned the stuff you like, anything you didn't like? out of curiousity...
