something odd: the night before last some dude just wandered into our apartment...i was in my room at the time...Mary Beth saw him and ushered him out and got me to see what he wanted 'cuz she couldn't understand what he was saying (he told her he was drunk...and he spoke with that low, slurred drawl that sounds almost like a hum...) he said he was a neighbor and wanted to borrow some money i told him i didn't have any cash and he left...i didn't realize until she told me afterwards that he'd actually wandered through our kitchen and into the hallway-area...i thought he'd just been in the exterior laundry-room entryway...he was probably just drunk but still...anyway...more work yesterday...i've been talking to Jamie (yes, a name!) a little more...though i'm worried she has a boyfriend but i dunno...this could just be a friendly coworkers situation, but i guess i'll just have to wait and see...but at least she actively talks to me...that ain't somethin' ya see everyday! last night i went over to Jacques and Amber's and Amber made lasagna and it was good...now i'm awake and there's snow and ice out...i think the roads might have frozen some this time...i dunno...since it's saturday i probably don't have any reason to go out anyway...
