did the gay routine this morning of waking up early and going to the post office...at least the end result is me getting stuff: The Place of Dead Roads by William S. Burroughs, Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut, and The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection Volume 2...then work and work continued its trend of being fucking gay...and i worked overtime...i need to remember to put an ice scraper in my damn car, 'cuz that thing that happened last year or so when my windows were iced over and i had to wait til my heater melted the ice enough to free my wipers, etc holding my journey home up by a few minutes...you think i would have learned from the last time...i also had some unexpected mail when i got home...i got that reissue of Seventeen Seconds a while back and the liner notes were misprinted, where a whole section of page (4 pages, you know one sheet front and back and folded) was printed twice and there was some missing...so i'd emailed Rhino and they said they'd send me a replacement...i'd become sure i wasn't getting nothin' but finally months later here it is...i guess that's it...

eh...yeah, i've bought more books than i'll read this year in the past month...i'm sure it seems more than it is, though i think i've reached a bit of a level where i'll wait til i start buying stuff again...it usually comes in bursts...once i get started it's so much fun i can't stop! anyway, acquiring things is swell!
