The Family Ghost is never playing The Buccaneer again...i called today about setting up this other show for next month and the guy was like (i paraphrase) "yeah, that last show didn't go over so well...these next few dates we wanna get some more people in here...maybe some other time in the future..." i mentioned the show in question would be september 5th and he continued on his not wanting us to play there angle...he said we should probably try Newby's!? for those not here, Newby's is much larger venue, catering chiefly to frat dudes as it's on the strip next to the university...i was almost laughing at this point...not sure what he meant by that...if anything at all...probably just a way of saying "not HERE"...anyway, i called Murphy's after that and we have the show going on there! i tried The Buccaneer first as a let's-see-if-they'll-have-us-back test...and they won't! how bout that! oh well...Murphy's here we stay!
