just got back from the dentist...i hadn't been in years...i guess it was good news and stuff...no cavities or nothing...they said i did a pretty good job of keeping my teeth clean...there was some bone loss and that's why sometime my teeth hurt when i eat something sweet (which isn't very often...) they said i should just use that sensitive toothpaste stuff...then i got a crush on the dentist...she had some accent, my guess would be she's from africa or something...then i just got home and found my first official rejection letter, well, rejection email...it's not very exciting though: "Thank you for your interest in Dicey Brown. Unfortunately we were unable to find a place for your story in our upcoming issue. We appreciate your patience and wish you best of luck placing this piece elsewhere." pretty boring really...well, that's the first acknowledgement i'd even sent the story anywhere...of course, i've only sent it to two other places via email...i should like actually do that like i said i was...and not be lazy and actually mail it too...
