the night before last i couldn't go to sleep...i was up all night and i couldn't put down the Talking Heads book...good stuff...i finally got to sleep well after daylight...then i went to work and closed...not much to say about that...i got up relatively early today to take care of the one present i had left to get (for my parents)...i was a little worried 'cuz i wasn't sure if anyone would do it (can't tell what it is yet...still top secret...yea...) but i was able to obtain that which i was after...bitchin'...it feels so good to have it all done w/...after that i had about an hour to kill before work so i went to Lastchance where i had a little christmas for me:

they're both 2 disc sets...so much cd action [drool]...after that i still had some time to kill...it was raining so i went to work half an hour early assuming they might need me w/ the rain and all...as i felt the only other thing i'd be able to find to do would be going to another store and buying more stuff...so i opted for making money instead of spending...it was pretty slow when i got in...the day driver was let go early...but once the evening shift hit it got real busy (and it started raining much harder...) i did pretty well that first shift...i was let off about 8:30 but put on call though i was never called back in then...one thing: i made this delivery to a woman w/ a monkey...she works at the zoo and it was injured so she had it home caring for it...it little monkey hand was in a bandage...awww...i asked her if i could pet him but she said he was too vulnerable to catching germs and stuff...i also got a free pizza for being on call...radical, dude! i went and hung out w/ Jacques and Amber watching stuff on the tele...then at midnight i had to go back in...that second shift kind've sucked...my back and neck have been sore the past few days...it was really bad this morning but since i've been to work, i guess, it hasn't been so bad...just a little stiff...oh well...hopefully it goes away...i'm done...

VERY worth it, i think...i'm listening to the 7th disc right now...(damn, just thinking about how that's still early in the box, but that'll be 7 hours when it's over...) a lot of the time, while i'm listening to all of these cds, i'm thinking this is their best work...
