i agree...on both accounts...i think Grotesque is my absolute favoritest Fall album though...(Dragnet comes close...especially when i think about "Spectre Vs. Rector")

it wasn't my first...(actually my first Fall album was one of the early 90s not-too-good ones...but i did have "Bingo Masters Breakout" on a comp before that...) but dear lord there aren't enough words for how great that album is (Grotesque)...

I still need Dragnet, but Grotesque rules. After a few mediocre records in the 90s, I really like their most recent one. It's called Are you are missing winner. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

i haven't heard it but i've heard that the two before it are supposed to be really good as well...The Marshall Suite and The Unutterable...i really wanna check the last 3 out...it's pretty cool that the only early [studio] album i'm lacking now is Hex Enduction Hour...not cool that i'm lacking it, just cool in that i've gotten so caught up...

They are kind of hit and miss, but worth checking out. Hex Induction Hour is essential.

we got the fall box set too- looked kinda cool but also kinda like a ripoff.

horrible truth is ok, but it really makes the show we went to seem MUCH better. the shirt i got has weirdly faded and run together, which sucks.

future days = awesome. kranky records can kiss my ass after hearing that album.

who was workin the merch table where you got erase errata? maybe it was mike, from their label. really nice guy but hasn't been in my work in a long while.

you don't have school kids in memphis? one of my co-workers used to work at two different ones. supposedly it's this chain of college town indie cd shops...

ummm...it was a girl that was working the Erase Errata table...i think the band members were back there at various times as well...at least the guitarist, i think...

and no School Kids in Memphis...i don't guess we're indie enough in these parts...
