Different from the One You Are in Now

Had that deployment yesterday morning. Then I went to work on recording the Alvin Lucier tribute I'd intended to perform at the show. I got it recorded direct-in and thought it might benefit from some room sound so I recorded a pass played back from the speakers. Then, since it is an Alvin Lucier tribute after all, I thought it would be worth trying out another pass of that recording from the speakers in fine "I Am Sitting in a Room" style. Then I mixed it all together (though keeping the room recordings pretty low in the mix just so all that wouldn't've been to muddy it all up). Hopefully it all came across alright and as intended, the whole thing's kind of a blur. Tacos Nganas have a new truck location in midtown that just opened up a few days ago so we had that for dinner last night. It was, of course, supremely delicious. Then Mary Beth painted my toenails last night. So I have shiny metallic toenails right now. We watched some Samurai Jack. I never watched it the first time around, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far!
