I kinda started yesterday with the biggest hissy-fit while doing duolingo. It started with a small hissy-fit when I just immediately lost all my hearts in the very first lesson I was on (and a review lesson to boot, what the fuck?). But then the screen got messed up and the dialog box with the buttons for me to select things was halfway off the screen (with the actual buttons completely off the screen) so I couldn't select the option to buy more hearts. All I could do would be to exit the lesson, which would mean losing my progress, even if I bought more hearts I'd have to go back and do this damn-ass-fucking lesson again. So I got really pissed. It didn't end up being so bad after I resigned myself to it, because since I'd just done the exact same lesson, the second time went very easy and very fast. But at first, yeah, I got into a huge hissy-fit over it. Okay, but then the rest of the day was very nice. Mary Beth walked over to the park while I was taking a shower and I went over and met up with her and we walked a bunch through the forest trails. We even went over to the far side by North Parkway that we almost never go to. After that we went and got lunch at Abyssinia, each picking up that vegetarian combo. We ate ourselves to being completely stuffed. Once again, I'm still probably a little full right now. After a bit of a stretch of an afternoon rest, we went out to Jerry's Snow Cones for the first time in a very good long time and had some snow cones and they were delicious as ever. I got a pear flavored one and it tasted just like a pear. So good! In the later part of the afternoon and evening Mary Beth finished reading to me Zami: a New Spelling of My Name by Audre Lorde. It was really good. Then later at night we watched Song of the Sea, which had really good animation. I caught up on some sleep this morning and that's good!
