Ten Days

During work yesterday, towards the end of the day there was a meeting among a bunch of different teams. I ended up having to present and walk through some stuff. Ugh, not the worst thing (especially remote), but I wasn't super-knowledgeable about the process, been through it a couple times (and even then not fully). Anyway, can be a little on the nerve-wracking side. I went and picked up some more mailers, hopefully ones that are better for shirts. Put those up online yesterday and I had a much bigger run on them than I was expecting! Had a connection test yesterday and it had some issues for a multiple of reasons. One was related to not being able to get the audio from the daw into obs. I'm going to look up some more things and get back on that. Mary Beth and I took a short walk to the mailbox in the much cooler almost-twilight evening. She read to me for a while. Then I finished reading The Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio. Been at that one a while (but not nearly as long as I was expecting)! It was enjoyable. I know it has its reputation for being bawdy but went even farther in that direction than I was expecting! Even having seen the Pasolini movie, sure, those are only a few out of a hundred, they wouldn't all be like that. And they all aren't, but probably a pretty healthy majority. And a whole lot of anti-clerical sentiment. On the one hand, some of the stories can get pretty repetitive, and often those stories that are not about people finding convoluted ways of doing it aren't always so good. But overall it's a pretty good book, especially given when it was written. Anyway, I've got a lot of mailing to do today.
