Tone Loc

So the only thing I really have to share for today is this dream I was having around when I woke up. So I found this cat in our apartment. It was running back and forth between my "office" room and the "library" room (crawling under the door into the "library" room, somehow...also, maybe at first there were two cats). Then I managed to catch it in the bathroom. It wasn't friendly but it didn't attack or anything either. Then I found a collar on it so I knew it had to be someone's pet but there was no contact information, just the name Tone Loc. So then, for some reason, I knew I had a compilation cd that was related somehow so I thought I'd go to a record store to get more information that maybe I could find the owner (why go to a record store when I apparently had this cd, I don't know, but, yes, dream). While driving there (also, had taken the cat with me in the backseat), I saw the Beastie Boys walking along the side of the road so I stopped to ask them (because I was sure they knew, because in the dream they'd apparently collaborated with Tone Loc, quite possibly for the song on this mythical comp...(which my brain may have been thinking of as that Songs of the Naked City comp of early NYC punk stuff, but doesn't fit at all in this conext)). Anyway, when I stopped they had disappeared and it was other people, but they said they'd seen the Beastie Boys and they liked that the cat was named Tone Loc. Then this is probably somewhere around where I woke up. Kinda goofy but when I woke up I thought it was the most amazing dream (also, because I rarely remember dreams...but it did have a heap of very specific things of which I have no idea where they came from so that's always fun).
