First Shot

We got the first dose of the covid vaccine yesterday! It went pretty smoothly and efficiently. Drove up to the fairgrounds, there was a line with the cars, all going into the long building. Then we got lucky as they break the cars up into groups (feeling kinda like a roller coaster line) and they'd put the cones down in front of us as though we were just missed the last group but then after a couple minutes they saw room and let us go in making us the last in our group. Woo! They administered the shots while we were in the car and then when everyone in the group is done they send you to an area of the parking lot to wait a bit to see if you have any side effects before sending you off. I've felt some slight soreness in my arm and for a little while yesterday morning I started feeling a little tired (though that went away after drinking some tea). Anyway, yeah, we're on our way to being vaccinated!
