Oily Afternoon

I took the car in to get an oil change yesterday. So it was a drive down to the Valvoline down in Southaven. It'll be nice when the one on Union is finished building, I wonder how long it's been since the one that used to be on Union closed. Anyway, I get there and there's a good bit of a line but I wait since I'd already made the trek out and I've got nothin' else to do for a while and it takes just a little over an hour before they get to me. But I had my book and James Brown to keep me company. There was going to be another streaming test but the people who were going to do it couldn't and it'll be "tomorrow" (that's today now) instead, which is better 'cuz someone else was going to do it today and it had gotten a little later given how long the oil change took and now I had time to relax with dinner. Mary Beth and I had our first eating outside of the year and it was quite lovely. And the food was good too (chicken with a dusting of powdered mushrooms!? yeah!). Okay, now to work, let's see how this storm goes.
