Start

Yesterday was my last day working before my vacation, which I am now doing! Won't really be doing anyTHING, but I won't be working for over a week. Mary Beth and I still got up on the early side of things today and we took Trudy to the vet for her teeth cleaning. So she's dropped off for a while. There were a couple packages waiting for me this morning. I guess it was delivered late last night (though I checked way later than we typically get mail and still didn't see anything so I assumed wasn't coming after all). Anyway, I got: The Lost Writings by Franz Kafka and Naked Masks by Luigi Pirandello. The former is the new book that I'd preordered and of course and super-excited about! The latter is a collection of five plays (including the well-known Six Characters in Search of an Author). Also there was a package with another preorder: Autechre: Sign and two Autechre shirts I'd ordered. The reason it took longer to get to me was 'cuz the u.k. site still had an older NTS Sessions shirt so I ordered from there and got that and a Sign shirt. They are both swell shirts and will go nicely with, uh, all the other Autechre shirts I have! Anyway, time to live up the vacationing!
