Drone

Did a very teeny bit of music last night. Not a whole lot else. The one pseudo-interesting story I have involves my continued usage of outmoded technology! The album I inaugurated in my new car's cd player is a two disc Tony Conrad album. So both disks consist of a continuation of the same long drone. So both discs sound very much the same! Anyway, I'm still used to my old car's six disc changer, but the new car has only a single disc player (hey, I'm happy it plays cds at all nowadays!). So the disc ends and then repeats itself, but as I said, I'm used to the old car so I don't think about, feeling as if it's moved on to the second disc (which pretty much sounds the same). Yeah, and then about twenty minutes in it hits me that I'm not in a car with a disc changer anymore and I didn't change the disc myself! Doh! That is all! Three cheers for Tony Conrad! Anyway!
