Did some more practicing last night for TONIGHT'S SHOW! Hopefully it's enough and it'll go well! We shall see. Had my first annual evaluation with my manager today. I had to do a self-evaluation which I had to rush 'cuz when I first looked at it most of the questions were referring to previously set goals (which don't exist as it's the first time I've done it). But finally got some assistance and promptly rushed a self-evaluation. I went up to Crosstown during my lunch break to meet Stacy and take a little tour of the new "listening room" in the Concourse. Luís and Paul met me up there. It was a pretty productive look and talk. The most exciting part is she brought up Crosstown wanting to partner, in which case they'd cover a lot of the cost of paying artists and the rental would be free. We'll be meeting with the full group next week about it to discuss and come up with a detailed plan to get back to Crosstown with. Sounds pretty exciting so far. While I met Paul I also bought all of Ihcilon's cds from him!: Ihcilon, Stammer, Retrospection, Pending Disco, 6-25, Radio Silence, The Dust Gets In, and Operant. So I'm damn excited about that! Back to work for this big meeting where we (along with the payments team) (and "we" meaning primarily my product owner) are trying to "show off" our work to the ahs group so they can see what they want to take when the split happens. Anyway, that's a thing. Otherwise, I still can't believe how much of this server stuff is still going in circles. But now I'm back home and have a show tonight to get ready for!
