Range Life

Got my second group of Criterion blu rays in the mail yesterday (got a $50 gift certificate after my initial purchase): Le Amiche, The Lure, and Breaking the Waves. Between running errands and going out, I watched a bunch of Barry Lyndon bonus features. Then I went over to Nate and April's. Zachary and Denny had a shinding at their house way out in the country in the Arlington area. Nate wanted to carpool so I met over at their house. Hung out with Patti a lot. Mostly it was me dancing for her thinking she was wanting to dance, but then she didn't dance. Well, she enjoyed making me dance. Anyway, had a fine time hanging out outside. There were some people I know and people I don't know and a lot of kids. I knew the aforementioned people and also Jack and after a bit David H. and his wife showed up and after another bit Jacques showed up. We left a little early based on Patti's cranky limit. Back at their house I got to hang out with Jojo, a cat that reminds me of Horace a bit, for just a minute. Then I went home and watched some Agnès Varda movies with Mary Beth: Black Panthers and Lions Love (...and Lies). Now another day is upon us.
