Conclusion
Oct. 16th, 2016 05:25 pmThe triple a guy came and I thought they'd send a tow truck, but it was just the guy in the van, but he was able to take the bolts off the tire (he had a cross-iron so his tool selection was much better). Felt kinda dumb and/or wimpy but it ended up being fortuitous because he put on the spare and it was flat. I went and grabbed the spare from my car and he switched it out with that, and while it wasn't QUITE as completely dead flat, it was just about there and not in a driveable condition. So he left to get more air 'cuz he'd run out on his last job. So that got pumped up and I was able to take Mary Beth's car to the tire shop. I also had my first lyft (or any other similar service) ride ever. It was pretty quick and smooth and I made it back home. It wasn't too much longer til it was ready and we were able to go and pick it up. Later in the evening I finished the first season of Mr. Robot so that was fun. Then Mary Beth and I started in on that last season of Community on that weird yahoo service that I was able to chromecast from my laptop. The Family Ghost got together to practice for the next show this morning (the show that's this frickin' Wednesday...at Murphy's...). We came up with a set and ran through it real quick and it was all pretty good. I mean, we've been playing all these damn songs for years now. I went to the Memphis Forward meeting out at Buss's. What else? That's about it for now.
