Vibe

Yesterday evening I went up to Crosstown Arts for a little talk thing on music recording. It was with Boo Mitchell from Royal Studios. It was pretty interesting. Mostly anecdotal, but brushed up a little against technical stuff. Some history stuff. A bit of the expected cliches about just trying to get a good "vibe." Overall a pretty good talk. I weirdly got stuck on a production emergency call last night. I got a text about 8:30 so I call into the bridge call and was a bit active in the conversation at first, but after Mafaz joined in maybe an hour later I didn't have much to participate in. I was on it a total of two hours. I went in to work an hour later today and I'll probably leave an hour early tomorrow. Would have left early today, but was hard at work today trying to finish this last ticket before the code freeze tomorrow. I'm pretty much finished. Just about almost wrapped up my unit test. So I have time in the morning before 10 to wrap up the little bits and do some code review with Amogh. Exciting stuff!
