I found Horace in his super-secret hiding place yesterday evening when I tried to give him his medicine. He was inside the organ, crawled through the opening where the foot pedal is. So I had to do some trickery to get him out of there and then chase him down. Tried to figure stuff out for the Memphis Forward site last night as well. I wrote a key part of it in node.js and now I'm not sure how that's going to work. Daniel has the site on shared hosting and I'm pretty sure there's no way to run node.js directly (therefore I can't run the node/application). I may be able to jump start it with some php, but I wasn't having luck getting anything to run on my local server yesterday to try it out so I don't know. We'll see. I'll either figure it out or I may just rewrite it in python or something (his host can handle python). After work today Mary Beth and I went downtown to the Halloran center to watch Pan's Labyrinth. Wasn't sure if I'd like it at first but I ended up liking it a lot. So that was pretty exciting to get to see it. Afterwards we went by the Deli to try their cheesesteak sandwich, which was supposed to be good. It was pretty good as a sandwich goes. The meat was right, but it wasn't greasy enough. It was a little on the dry side, a bit lacking in cheese (probably not even cheez wiz). The onions were pretty good but also lacking in peppers. Anyway, I'd gotten my hopes up but it wasn't the real deal, halfway there at least, but not all the way. Why is it I'm able to talk about sandwiches more than anything else?
