Halloween

Had some good weekend activities with Mary Beth yesterday. We continued to achieve Mary Beth's sandwich goals at Fino's. Hadn't been in there in forever. The inside's so different. I miss all the junky pictures and stuff on the walls. But the sandwiches are still great. We watched Halloween, it was her first time to see it. And I got more out of it this time than I had in the past (it's been a while, and I liked it but I don't think I loved it, that may not be the case now!). We spent a lot of the evening watching Simpsons episodes. I finished reading Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood and it was really great. A lot I liked about that book and I think it's gonna stick with me in my head for a while. I have been having a bit of trouble getting to sleep at night and also with waking up in the morning. While the light of the day and its distractions disperses these feelings like fog, these times before bed and after waking up I feel a seething rage. Now with doing errands and the other stuff we'll be doing throughout the day it will subside. Maybe overall it will prove to be an arc running its course over a few days. I'll see tonight.
