Good Work

The sandwich talk yesterday paid off 'cuz we went to Elwood's Shack and had their debris sandwich. Later at night we watched Beau Travail. It was really damned good. Woke up early this morning for practice. It was just Jacques and me and we worked on recording stuff for the soundtrack. We laid down the basis for "ambient." Just our parts (him on the sampler and me on the prophet and moog). Then we went to work on "ambient disco" and were going to lay down the drum machine first. So after fidgeting with sounds for each of the drum parts, time was almost out! So we "quickly" went on to record that part (running for 15 minutes). Then I rushed out to the Memphis Forward meeting. While there I started coding the website. It's a pretty basic stump page now. But I got most of it done. But man, it's easy to forget even basic html/css shit. Okay, well that's good for now.
