Ended up watching Two Tons of Turquoise to Taos Tonight last night. It was pretty good. The most experimental of the Robert Downey Sr. movies, but just as goofy. It might have been my favorite. There were actually a lot of really nice shots. No narrative, just montage, maybe little snatches of narrative if something resembling a vignette pops up now and again, but for the most part they were jokes the popped up. I fell asleep like three times last night and once this morning. Last night I also finished the big epic (short but big) theme music for the Bernie podcast. And I eq'ed and mixed it and all. Definitely not like anything I've ever done before. It was mostly Minimoog. 8 tracks (I think) of Minimoog and one of the other following: Prophet, guitar, drums, modular, and Taurus. I think I'm proud of it. Maybe it's just I'm so close to it. Epic shit usually isn't my area so maybe I just don't know.
