At the Movies

I somehow forgot to mention that my Nots European Tour 2015 replacement shirt came in the mail on Friday (seeing as I was wearing it as I was typing up my last post). Was worried they were just being completely aloof about it, but a nice apologetic note was included (also a response to my email inquiring about it, pretty much forgetting about it because of holidays craziness which is understandable) and they threw in a few buttons and a patch. Okay! Ended up waking up Mary Beth early yesterday with Bedhead no less! I joined her in bed and we eventually both passed out again for a few hours. At night yesterday we went to see a few movies. First we saw Carol and it was quite good. There was a forty minute or so break between movies so we went to the nearby Target to poke around a few minutes. I ended up picking up Mad Men: the Final Season Part 2 (so we can finally see the damn thing!) Okay, back to the movies to see The Danish Girl. It was okay. The real negative part was in the writing, in that real Oscar-bait Hollywoodized style. A lot of the cinematography was real good, especially the exteriors. The subject matter and story were good (though the pacing, while probably timed to feel dramatic, was a bit plodding).
