Mary Beth and I got some pizza at Rock N Dough yesterday. Yeah. Pretty awesome that they've got a much closer location now. At night I watched Murder a la Mod (De Palma Movie that's a bonus with Blow Out). It was quite a bit different than I was expecting. I guess I thought it'd be more schlocky, but it's actually on the art film side of things (though in parts it gets really goofy). It has the De Palma fascination with disparate parts working concurrently to create the same event (before his use of split screen, so this jumps around in time from the perspective of different characters). And one of the characters is, like I said, really goofy. There's a bit that runs a lot like a less orchestrated Marx Brothers routine. And especially now that I've seen Phantom of the Paradise, it makes a lot of sense in his oeuvre (I'm talking about his oeuvre like I've seen more than three of his movies). Work today was pretty good. Starting to get things done on this one thing. Thing, stuff. Yeah. That's about it, I think.
