Last night Mary Beth and I went through the ENTIRE season of With Bob and David (yeah, four episodes, okay...). This is, if you weren't aware, just about everyone from Mr. Show having a go at it again! It was good. Overall not as good as the original, but several things were just funny as fuck. There was a making of thing but I passed out straight away about as soon as it started. Woke up this morning for the Memphis for Bernie training thing. It was at this church place on Cooper/Walker (across the street from First Congo). Pretty cool space. Old buildings are cool. Anyway, I met Harold and we got the pa set up. Then we ended up not even using the damn thing. Trying to get the projector working, Sarah realized it'd be easier to get everyone else up on the balcony too and just do it there in person, it wasn't a huge crowd or anything. Been scrambling to find a projection screen for tonight. We got the projector and everying, but the people who provided the projector (and were supposed to provide the screen too) are out of town and forgot that part of it. No luck so far. Came home to find a present left from Jacques in the laundry room, Orange Juice: Rip It Up cd. I guess he felt bad for getting the albums mixed up when I got the other one. Called him and told him that wasn't necessary (mentioned what I mentioned on here at the time, that he made up for it by pointing me to that Chinese Stars cd anyway), but it was a nice thing. So now I do have the song that I like so much.
