Ornette, Play It Again

Really bummed out to hear the news about Ornette Coleman. He lived a full life and I'm happy for that and all that he's given us, but I certainly felt a deep sense of loss on hearing he had died. RIP. Last night Mary Beth and I went to the Orpheum to see Casablanca. Neither of us had seen it before. It wasn't terrible like I thought it might be but it wasn't good either. I've been annoying Mary Beth with mangled famous lines in a really bad Bogart impression. Went jogging this morning. And it took me a while to get out the door 'cuz I was searching everywhere for my fucking keys. Until I found that I had already found them and put 'em in my pocket and forgot having done so. Yeah. It was also the first time in a long while I increased my distance. So feeling pretty good about that. Oh yeah, fuck, and I forgot some shit. Some shit. Yesterday some coworkers were going to eat lunch at Las Delicias. Said it sounded good but I couldn't go 'cuz I'm broke. Then Stephen insisted on getting my lunch. So I went and ended up only having like a $5 lunch so I figured I could swing that. Well, turns out I actually couldn't and my card was declined (I looked it up and I have like $3 in my checking account...). And the bank still didn't send that fucking replacement for my credit card. Luckily I had some cash on me. Also luckily I get paid Monday, but this still sucks some suckiness.
