Space

Yesterday Mary Beth and I watched Red Desert. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The use of color and focus and Antonioni's typically great framing/composition were definite highlights (I say "Antonioni's typically great" and that's only the second of his movies I've seen, but they were both so well done!). In the mail, the first of my Criterion sale acquisitions trickled in: If.... . Yesterday was a bit boring at work. It was really slow and for a while I was just sitting there doing nothing. Which is fine. But then the last bit of it I had to do validation which is much more boring than scanning (and I don't get to stand, which I actually prefer to do). But the shirt I wore was quite popular. It was the Space Invaders shirt with a bunch of different brightly colored invaders. More than once, someone said something along the lines of, oh I love that game what was it? Galaga? Haha, close. Even older and nerdier! (Though to be fair it's about a month older than me.)
