Damn! Has it really been so long since my last post? Well, I'd better catch up. Well, I guess during the week not much really went down. Just continuing to work. We finally kind've got started on actual training for the job we're to be doing on Friday. More training on Monday and then I'll be on my new schedule starting Tuesday (ugh). I did finally get an email from Brother Thursday. I definitely did not get the customer service job, but they are still interested in me for the data analyst position. That is very exciting and I hope I get it really bad. They should be calling me some time about it. Since I last posted Mary Beth and I started watching BoJack Horseman and finished it and it was really really good. In these days I've been constantly working on filling up my mp3 player. I've put so much awesome stuff on it and I still have a bunch more room to go! I had put aside the discogs work for a while, but I did pick it back up again the other day and I'm up to The Stooges. Last night Mary Beth and I watched Session 9. I was pretty impressed with it. Some of the stuff with the multiple voices (especially towards the end) was a little on the cheesy side, but overall I thought it was really well done and creepy too. The camera work was really good. And even though the plot as a whole wasn't anything spectacular, I thought the way they played it (pacing, sequencing) made more of it than otherwise would have been. Today we went over to Josh and Molly's as Lila for Lila's birthday party. They had rented a bouncy castle for it and after all the guests left we all totally jumped around in it and it was fuckin' awesome. It was also surprisingly a lot of work and very tiring. But it was fun and worth it. Josh and I also played some ping pong before that and he kicked my ass. Later we went to Broadway for some pizza and I got fulled up. I think that's about it for now. This is my last real weekend for a while. I was fun while it lasted (though the advantage of this crummy schedule is that it makes it easier to schedule interviews for ANOTHER job). I will say the time off work in the evenings and on my days off feels so long and expansive. That part's kind of wonderful.
