Mary Beth and I shared our fifth anniversary on Friday. I has been five wonderful years with her. She makes me happy every day and even though we've spent what should be way too much time together these past four months (me being jobless and us together all the time), I've enjoyed the time together and can't get enough of her. So Friday. We didn't really have much planned as things has been so up in the air about a job and all until right before the anniversary happened. I came home from work and we relaxed with some tea and watched some Seinfeld. Well, I did order a very small something for the both of us just a couple days before: two versions of that Timeline game (the historical events one and the music and cinema one). So that showed up and we played that some. I'm sure we ate at some point and we had a good time. Yesterday we made a little plan to go on a walk. First we ran some errands which brought us out in the Germantown area. So I figured we'd hit the Shelby Farms side of the Greenline. We'd never been on it so it was cool to finally do that. We didn't have time to walk the whole thing, but we walked four miles of it before turning around (at Waring) so we got a total of eight miles walked. Good thing we didn't go farther though. I'm so out of shape now and my legs felt like they were giving out towards the end. Well, I'm mention highlights. I really enjoyed the woods between Shelby Farms and the interstate. Wolf River and the marshy area. The way in, we saw a bunch of armadillos scurrying around. It was pretty awesome. Coming back, in the clearings for the power lines we saw a whole bunch of deer. One group of like nine on one side and then there were two others on the other side of the trail. That was really cool. My legs were pretty destroyed-feeling last night. I could barely walk at all. Parks and Recreation finally got the last season up on Netflix so we started in on that and I just spent the rest of the night in bed watching it. My legs feel a lot better today. They're a little stiff, but we made it back from grocery shopping so I'm not debilitated or anything.
