Soup

Jacques came over yesterday and we worked on mixing some more. We made another pass at "The Provincial" and mixed "Cameras" as well. Ryan popped by for a bit as well. It went pretty well, but there were some frustrations. We thought we had "Cameras," but it apparently mastered much hotter than we'd mixed it and was pushing distortion so we had to do it again (upon which a series of every little thing going wrong and making us have to do it again). But we got it done. And now we're back to an average of one song a week, which means mixing will only take three months at this rate...sigh... Okay. Afterwards Mary Beth and I met Jacques's new girlfriend Melissa. She seems very nice so I'm glad we got to meet her. This morning Mary Beth and I went to Soup Sunday down at the Forum. Of course, ate so so much. Dustin and Courtney were there too and we got to hang out with them a bit...between eating way too much. Anyway, that brings us about up to speed.
